book 14- 15

In these two books it was a point in the battle that gave the Achians a sliver of hope. There was alot of planning that occurred in these two books, that caused trickled effected to the immortals.  Hera  having attempted to plan in the deception of Zeus, in hopes of turning the tides of the battle. In the end this was to  no avail because Zeus tells Hera to make Posedien withdraw from the battle. Zeus eludes to the fact that he has no particular desire in the Trojans winning. I find this though intresting,for if he has no particular desire or ambition for one side to win, why has he gone to such lengths to spell out doom for the Achians. I wonder what Zeus has seen and understood the future of all these actions and decisions that have taken place. Is everything he is doing now tie to back to the intial plea of of Thesis. Is  Zeuses intention, for the Achilles to have a face off with this challenger that poses that absolute threat, that being Hecktor.
