Book 15 /16

Hektor has a new enemy named Aias who loudly expressed his hatred for Hektor and wanted to defeat him as soon as they got the chance to because according to Aias he is the reason of the many losses in his life , and people. With Hektor’s powerful words to the fighting men they almost backed out on the fighting until Aias reminded them of the motive to get rid of Hektor.
Book 16 for me was hard to understand with the introduction of many new characters, and surprisingly Zeus is one of the main characters in this chapter with his interference in battles and being in the midst of trying to revive wounded Hector . And also Achilles might have shown me personally that he doesn’t have respect for the ones that cry over the dead , in the scene of Patroklos talking to him.
