Antigone

Antigone is very outspoken and not only challenges the government but also challenges gender norms. Her being so outspoken and rebellious is in itself a threat to this construct as women were granted very little rights. The model woman would have been submissive and obedient. But Antigone is the exact opposite. Her even openly expressing any form of disagreement with the government is a bold move. She's kind of like a martyr.
